Become a volunteer today!

We’re on a look out for committed and passionate volunteers, who are keen in helping us advocate the animal welfare cause.

Volunteers fill a wide variety of roles at the SPCA. They may interact with the animals by providing much-needed socialization for dogs and cats, taking dogs on walks, and playing with our cats and young kittens. Volunteers are needed to help clean up after the animals and can often be found cleaning litter boxes and dog runs or washing bowls and bedding materials. Some volunteers may help with special events and community outreach functions. They can also provide much needed assistance with fundraising.

If you are at least 17 years old and are able to commit for at least four months of consecutive volunteer work on a weekly or fortnightly basis, we invite you to join us by completing our simple volunteer application form that can be found at this link https://forms.gle/EEchkC5cWYAAkQY28

If you are below 17 years old, fret not as we have other opportunities for you! Please contact dibashini@spca.org.sg to find out more.

Be a foster and save a life!

Fostering a shelter pet can be an incredibly valuable and rewarding experience both for the animal and the foster volunteer. No experience is necessary to become a foster care volunteer.

There are multiple types of foster situations ranging from orphaned animals who must be bottle fed to adult pets who are recovering from injuries or sickness and are in need for medical attention.

Medical treatment for foster animals is provided free of cost in our SPCA Clinic, so there is no expense to the foster volunteer.

If you are interested in fostering a shelter pet from the SPCA, please complete and submit the Foster Care Interest Form: https://forms.gle/L2GhMDdesDASXftR6

"Every time an animal is adopted, a space opens up in our shelter. So when you adopt an animal, not only are you saving that animal’s life, but you are also opening up a space for another animal’s life to be saved".
