Advocate Dog
Active Ingredient
Imidacloprid 100mg/ml.
Moxidectin 25mg/ml.
Indications
For the treatment and control of fleas (Ctenocephalides felis).
Larval flea stages are killed in the surroundings of Advocate™ treated pets.
Reduces the incidence of Flea Allergy Dermatitis
For the prevention of heartworm (L3 and L4 of Dirofilaria immitis) infection.
For the treatment and control of:
- Roundworms (Toxocara canis (L4 larvae, immature adults and adults), Toxascaris leonina (adult)).
- Hookworms (Ancylostoma caninum, Uncinaria stenocephala), kills larval (L4), immature and adult worms of all species.
- Whipworm (adult Thrichuris vulpis).
- Generalized demodicosis (Demodex canis)
- Sarcoptic mange (Sarcoptes scabiei var. canis).
- Ear mites (Otodectes cynotis).
- Lice (Trichodectes canis).
Dosage & Application
Select the appropriate size of Advocate® according to the animal’s body weight.
Squeeze all the content of the pipette onto the skin between the shoulder blades.
Safe for puppies more than 7 weeks old.
Generalized canine demodicosis treatment:
Mild to moderate cases: Apply once every 4 weeks for 2-4 months.
Severe cases: At the discretion of the veterinarian, apply once a week for a prolonged time.

– Roundworms (Toxocara cati), kills larval (L4), immature and adult worms.
– Hookworms (Ancylostoma tubaeforme), kills larval (L4), immature and adult worms.
– Ear mites (Otodectes cynotis)
– Mange mites (Notoedres cati)
Dosage & Application.
- Select the appropriate size of Advocate™ according to the animal body weight.
- Squeeze all the content of the pipette onto the skin at the base of the skull.
- Safe for kittens more than 9 weeks old.
- Safe for pregnant and lactating queens – use according to the risk-benefit assessment by the responsible veterinarian.
Flea and heartworm prevention in ferrets:
- Advocate™ Cat S size once monthly.
